Hello everybody!!
As a member of the staff of the Soldat.com.br site - the official Brazilian Soldat community - I'd like to invite all of you to check out our brand new portal!!
http://www.soldat.com.brEverything is written in Portuguese, so unfortunately most of you won't be able to read a thing.
Still I invite you all to at least check it out and tell us what you think about the design.
It can also serve as a source of inspiration to those that want to create a Soldat site.
Here's a quick guide to the sections of the site.
Soldat: this is the main page where we introduce the game to new players. We have translated the official manual and registration pages as well.
Notícias: this is the news page, it's integrated with our
blog. Here we are going to post news, articles and interviews about the world of Soldat, not just what happens in the brazilian community.
Servidores: this is the server status page. It shows the status, maps and players of the main dedicated servers we have here in Brazil. You can also see who's online on our TS server.
Downloads: self explanatory! We use a well known script called pafiledb to organize the download section into categories.
Ranking: this one is perhaps the biggest addition. It's our own PHP powered ranking system. Most of the brazilian clans are already in the system, but there are a few still missing. We sign up the clans and every clanwar that is posted in our forums is also entered in the system with all details (who played, who won, who lost, scores, maps played, screenshots). Now we can have a history of the brazilians clans and the matches they played. Soon we're gonna add a player ranking as well.
Forum: no changes here. Our forums have been up for 2 years now.

One thing that is really missing is a Links section with links to other Soldat sites.
