Is the server requirements on a Dedicated server the same as it is for the game?

I believe so, sans Directx and related Directx stuff.

It depends on how many slots your server will have. That will determine the processor speed you need and the required internet speed. I suggest you read the following topics:

If im not wrong, RAM and CPU usage is very low for the soldatserver binary. However, you do need a decent connection.

I monitored the CPU usage for the soldatserver.exe file in task maneger.
Not once did it go over 00% but it was only one player on the server but I'll see when i get my server running

I've heard from Truup that he ran dedicated just fine with 75MHz Pentium and something like 32Mb of RAM. Map changing lagged badly, but otherwise it was playable.

I ran FunkyDM(6 slots DM) with 233MHz Pentium II with 128Mb of RAM, sometimes map change lagged, but it was kinda rare. After I upgraded to 333MHz Celeron, it worked just fine. OS was Windows ME.

ok..... I gonna run on a 133Mhz (maybe that i can upgrade too 400Mhz P2) linux with maybe 256MB RAM.... (maybe that i can upgrade too 400Mhz P2)

It should work pretty nicely. Just get 500MHz Pentium 3 CPU(s ) + Mobo + more ram from eBay. Will cost ya like max $70, I think.
