But do note, we don't like to help anyone here 'find' hacks, so don't go flashing those hack-names around. Theres enough hackers in this game as it is.
Ofcourse this will not stop hack %100 but it will help us at war against the hack.
I like the idea, but I think Soldat should also search for known hack symptoms, as in a change of file size in Soldat files.
don't really believe that hacks start modifying Soldat's files. Well, to be honest, I know nothing about hacks and how they work, so someone enlighten me if I am wrong.

Most of them are just external programs that modifies the memory values. But nevertheless, a size check wouldn't be too hard to add in.
Soldat should get an Anti-hack system like VAC2, its the greatest Anti-hack system ever.

Thats a very interesting idea. But could you tell me how and why you know the names of so very many hacks for Soldat, so that I may stop to consider not banning you right now?
Ripper.. nothing is "hack proof" even going thru all those measures may filter out a lot of it but there will still be some who will try and ruin the game for the rest. My advice is to learn who the good respectable players are in the community and play with them.

How much does it cost?

Some people can change their IP's so that would not work very well. There is also another way of identifying a client tho, like machines MAC address or for example, windows serial-key.
i didnt bother to read all the posts, since there wore too many for my reading skills But, when you make a anti-hack program this way, don't you think that people will do anything, again, to make hacks workmaybe they make the programs/trainers/hacks automaticly change the process namethere will and allready are hacking tutorials
-.-Well apparently there are hacks that prevent votekicking..There are also arrogant players who don't know how to press F12.Ideally you want something that prevents certain other applications from being run at the same time as soldat. But of course we don't want to restrict the use of all other applications (i.e internet browsers, irc clients, msn, aim etc..) that'd be quite extreme.Perhaps something that is able to recognise certain applications that are 'allowed' to run with soldat, which closes all other applications on starting up soldat, and doesn't allow any other application to be started without terminating soldat.
There are NO anti-votekick hacks. The closest thing to one is an Auto-F11, which isn't even a hack. I think the votekick works fine, and I don't think hacking is a big problem in Soldat. Yes there are a few active hackers, but other than that, people mostly use hacks that barely affect the game.
There were (or are, I don't know) hacks that tried to initiate a votekick against other players every second. This way other players didn't have the chance to start a votekick themselves.I don't know if there are such hacks for the current version, there probably are, but there were such hacks for 1.3 and a few earlier versions.
I'll quote myself a third time:QuoteThere were (or are, I don't know) hacks that tried to initiate a votekick against other players every second. They will also work on Soldat then if they altered slightly. Just in case we don't have to use this idea as an 'anti-cheat system for the anti-cheat system' ...Grtz, DePhille
