... , but it would also probably cause Soldat to use a lot more processing power on maps with weather on since you would need to create a truckload of snow/rain/sand particles that could react and collide with polygons.
Yeesh... yeah, that would put a dent in smoothness of gameplay. It's a great idea, but changing the atmospheric effects to something small like the piss graphic and having them interact with the polygons likewise would need massive duplication of the same graphic (as of now, sheets of rain, snow, etc. are a few, very large graphics) to look realistic. And that'll only be a lag generator.
What about roofed maps, ie. MrSnowman? No snow for them.
