Hello,Ok im not gonna say anything because ive been saying my map are great be there not.But i just wanna see how this one turns out i used my imagination and that hell map wasnt like hell so i modified big time.If theres anything wrong please tell me so i understand and fix.I have screen shots also.

those red colors and scenerys are awesome

That texture is kinda crazy but adds to good apearence.
There are other worlds than these

dsdude, I don't get why you have fear of shading normally. Also, no matter what, you refuse to post an overview unless someone asks you to. Please do that.

I'm assuming you're using the original mapmaker, because it appears you use the same vertice color order for every polygon on the entire map.

I also noticed the vertices, which means you haven't put alot of effort into your maps.

About the overview.  If you take one, you must use the MM's zoom feature located on the bottom.  Don't post overviews in .gif; PNGs are way better.

Ok,first off how do i make an overview?

And second gosh i dont understand myself when i make a map i just make it for some reason i dont pay attention to what it looks like i jsut make a map.Im sorry ill try to put more effort on the map im making now this time im gonna use my time to make and i hope it turns out good.


EDIT:I dont know why i dont shade normally i dotn even know what you meen i shade and i shade is there some kinda why yuo shade or something.

Hit the print screen button, and then go to paint and paste the image in.

Make sure you have a point on the map where you would imagine light coming from, don't just play polygons with edges shaded in all directions like you've done in this map.

I still don't understand why there would be trees in hell but at least they're red now.  :)

Have a look at some other maps and look at the shading, scenery placement and layout, it will help you become a better mapper. Switch to polyworks. Don't post the next map you make, wait a little longer as your maps should only get better. Try and put full effort into one map, don't make tons of maps that you could have put more work into.

...there's my advice.

Good god vig, it's not that bad.

I'd give a 5-6/10, although I can't tell how good the layout is from the screenshots.

I guess it could be better, but it beats CS_Siege.

um... hey, you tried! you're getting there! lol, this is what I mean when I talk about overlapping polygons, dude. make the verteces connect exactly and have nothing overlaping. practice makes perfect!

and for all yall out there, flaming aint gonna make much progress. tell him HOW to make it good instead of telling how its bad. as for Vig, we all know you're one of the best mppers out there, so you of all people should be helping him, or at least posting constructive criticism.  >:(
