I just wrote a very simple program.

It for those ones who want to quit Soldat fast for example if your parents disallow you to play it but you wish to, and you always want to quit it in exact 0,74 seconds.



VERSION 3.0 OUT NOW

1. You open SoldatKiller.

2. You select a file to open after Soldat's death.

3. You select Soldat's .exe. (someone requested this as he didnt wanted to start 2 apps)

4. You play.

5. You hear your parents coming.

6. You press "End".

7. Soldat dies.

8. The selected file is being opened.




Don't forget to select a file that doesn't open to slow, otherwise your parents will find out


any further feature requests? and bugs?

ok ppl, i just made version two, the changes are that if your playing, it says: Be right back people to the server, and closes soldat and opens notepad. i made it coz it wsa requested by someone, if you dont want it, use version 1.

if anyone wants an own version with own features, tell me


now this happens:

I tried it out, and it works really well. Though I think I'll just stick to Alt-F4:ing outta Soldat if really required - though I would have no real reason to do so.

btw, the soldatkiller doesn't simply "make" your keyboard press ALT+F4, it works like if you would minimize soldat, start TaskManager, search soldat.exe and make End Process.
sometimes TaskManager quitting is safer (99,9999999999999% safe) then ALT+F4 quitting, because altf4 quitting is like if you would in TaskManager go to the Application Tab and press End Task, and thats much slower if your computer's CPU is high.

that's right cube, it should be faster doing it your way.  It's good for the kiddies @ school and those who are avioding letting their girlfriends see them play....   I do not understand how it would be 'safer' though.

I suggest you use a program call "watchcat" it hides any window and can be unhid again. You can also modify which buttons to hide and unhide. So you don't have to quit the server you're currently playing in. Then after your parents/teachers leave, you can just unhide soldat and start playing again. Cube, I really like the idea of your little killer (which I actually haven't dowloaded yet), now forgive me for overstepping my bounds...  I was just thinking I'd really like this program if instead of just ending the program, it sent an ingame farewell chat message, quit soldat, and then opened up some legitimate program (like notepad or something), all at once...is that terribly unreasonable?

ok, u simply can minimize soldat like other games u want to hide, but soldat is a game that freacks your resolution off when closing a windows (what for reason i dunno). u clase a windows and soldat changes the resolution to 800x600 i think, and if someone knows soldat he will know u use it when it comes in and the game craps ur reso, but actually if sumone even doesnt know it he tells ya: "hey, mate, show me what that was" and looks in the taskbar and your done.

ehm, this cant happen, because the program ain't using a soldat command but somthing like a taskmanager command, and not typing something, so that cant happen.

still no1 here who wants this for other games (?

omfg now i understand what you want, you want teh game to say: CIAO PPL close soldat, and open notepad? man, ull get a program that does it in 5 mins. if u need also a text written in notepad, (coz an empty notepad ain't normal ) tell me.

I would like it to just minimize Soldat. The default f9 for minimize is nice because it doesn't change the resolution but it rarely works properly. Also, it should start Soldat when you start it so you don't have to open two programs each time.

well, i cant tell you the language, but i can tell you that the first version (SoldatKiller v1) was actually !!!ONLY 1 line of code !!!. the further versions are more lines, but the first were only about 15 characters

I don't like people making up lies when they haven't even tried to use watchcat, such as you. WatchCat does not mess up your soldat or window's resolution. And it works for any kind of game, any programs, almost everything. It will not even be shown in your taskbar when it's hidden. And it's so simple cause you can config which button you want to push. It can even hide everything and unhide everything.

Appearently it is made in AutoHotkey (website)... found this one out by downloading version 2 only to find the actual source code there. FileExt.com is your friend.

I was thinking:
What if you are in the middle of a game and owning badly? if you quit, you would lose your score.
So: Is it possible to minimize so that it isn't on the taskbar, but instead just in the Alt-Tab menu? you could assign it to insert, and still leave the quit (delete) option availabe.
Ex: Let's say that your mom comes in. She would just want to see that you are working, she wouldn't check into it much. So you hit insert and it is minimized to Alt-Tab.
However, let's say your brother comes in the room. he would probably want to get on it. So if he come in, you hit Delete.
