Alright, here goes my first little mini-mod. Ye be warned, because this is pure crap.

One day something reminded me of the old pringles mod made by... someone, at the old forums. I tried to find it, but my efforts were in vain. I thought "Eh, what the heck" and created my own mod. As of today I realized I could release it here, and here it is:



A sour cream and onion pringles tube M72 LAW. Yes, I was very bored. Also the start and end sound for the LAW has been 'popped' a tad.

I'd also like to point out that my main inspiration for this was the original pringles mod, of which I haven't been able to find out the creator of.

Install this mod by extracting the zip file's contents into Soldat\Mods (this is only what I recommend; of course I can't stop you from installing it in any other crazy way), and then set up the mod parameter to -mod pringles.

Replace smoke.bmp with chip fragments. Pringles shouldn't be leaving smoke trails, they should be leaving trails of broken chips!

Can't be arsed, you wouldn't see the result in non-modded servers then in any case.

Smoke.bmp is used by a bunch of other weapons and particle effects too, and I don't think a chips-spilling chainsaw would look as good anymore.

Actually, the smoke.mpreplacement isn't a bad idea if you were to make an entire Pringles mod.  Perhaps a "snack food" mod.  I'd like to see it.  If no one is up for it I would give it a try just for kicks.
