Alpha transperency! HOW?!

Thats right. Im asking you guys/girls how to apply alpha transperency to .png images.

Please help!

Note: Im using paint shop pro 9

I suggest you use GIMP.

Make the file with the transperant background, do save then choose .PNG thennnn do.... options? or optimize or something.. it's like bottom right button, then choose transperancy then do alpha transperancy and select existing transperancy.

Oh GIMP does that? I've been wondering this stuff for a while as well.
