I could care less really.  The version that's out now is pretty balanced.  And there are only 1 or 2 bugs that really get annoying.  I say, take your time, get the next version bug free or something.

This just doesn't mean Soldat 1.3.2 won't be released on January 1st, 2007. It doesn't mean Soldat 1.3.2 won't be released in 2007.
U sure?! They might be bug fixing the whole year if they don't post it on the first? Right?! there is a fu*king possibility! Sh*t that´s bad!

Or it could mean that instead of 1.3.2 coming out.  It's 1.4.1  who knows.

It'd only be 1.4 if there's a new game mode or something really important- or a lot of small changes.

I'm quite sure he's being serious.

Yes! [fist] More time to gather a petition to kick out that crap Airpirates and ctf_Nuubia from the official map pool.

I like Nuubia =(

Me too. Asymmetrical balanced CTF maps are a rarity, and the small size ensures plenty of action.

Anyway, I'm happy for the delay, since it'll hopefully mean lots of bugs not resolved in 1.3.2 will be looked at and fixed.

I like both Airpirates and Nuubia. Airpirates is a unique map with different strategies of gameplay and Nuubia is more of a fast-paced, close-quarters CTF map which there aren't too many of.
And to address the current topic, all these people who are impatient and can't wait for the new version, you're making me impatient too. Before, I was fine with waiting and couldn't care less but now everyone is making a big deal out of it -_-
For signatures, you are allowed only one image in your signature which may not be wider and taller than 300 and 125 pixels, and may not be over 20kB in file size. No BMPs are allowed.

I don't care about ctf_Nuubia's layout; that's not why I want it removed. That's fine. But the execution was tremendously horrible; it's insanely devoid of scenery, and does not even do a very good job establishing an atmosphere like at least, say, ctf_Kampf does, which has just as little scenery. It heavily lacks coloration, too; it's all just green, and black at the ends, and the stretched polygons so that you can't see the outside of the playing field were done badly and would be better with blank.BMPs surrounding it, in Demonic's style.
It's really just a bad map and I don't think it should be official in its current state.

This is getting off-topic now :P but I like that it lacks scenery. It makes Soldat what it is -- a fast paced action game. Maps with scenery encourage camping throughout, forcing players to advance cautiously. I like the basic texturing and coloring of the map as opposed to Kampf, which looks ugly with its blue-white-red color scheme and horribly unbalanced layout. The only two maps I'd love to see go would be Kampf and Death2.
