I mostly roll with the Steyr though because my general aim sucks.

Well, I like MP5, but it is bad in wide areas or chasing an enemy. That's why I choose Steyr or sometimes AK-47.

I prefer the Minigun....because it makes everybody lag, so then it's easier for me to kill them

It really just comes down to your likes and dislikes:

HK Mp5: Fast Firing rate and kills relatively quickly with a lot of spray and insanely fast reload time 1 of the fastest in soldat. (in primaries)

Steyr AUG: Good accuracy with not a lot of spray and good damage per bullet + good reload time. EDIT: forgot to mention that it binks the sniper to hell in r

AK-74: 40 Shots per clip with no spray at all, average shot time and insane damage with fast reload for 40 bullets, but...if you cant kill the person your aiming at in 40 shots, get a M79 for gods sakes. Personally my favorite spray.

Minimi: 50 shots per clip really slow reload time good for 1v1, the bullets do awesome damage, but slow fire rate, I dont really like it because im obsessive about reloading every time I kill sum1 xD.

It in the end comes down to your likes and how good you are.

Are you talking about the AK in R/L?  Cause in R/L the Ak is pretty nice, but I still prefer Steyr

it really depends on the situation!
map with many enemies - MP5
map:  bunker - MP5
someone took your flag and you're abou to respawn - minimi (for chasing)
R/S ctf - steyr (for relative accuracy, long distance, and high rate)
If you wanna do something fun:  minigun
I very rarely use the AK (minimi is relatively equal)

I use the AK and find it good for all situations, with most autos you have to adapt to the different maps and different types of players.

Ak74 for me too. Strong power and decent range really helps me out. Steyr is okay too, but I prefer Ak74's lower bink.

I also love Mp5, especially when you jump in a 180 arc over theyre heads all the while pouring down on them. Poor guys never stand a chance...
