I have some pretty fuckin' oddball cacti. There's one that's spikes are flat and broad like little ka-bars, and they're sharp as hell.

I had/have venus flytraps, coolest plant ever.

I've got some sort of Ivy for my science project, they're pretty low maintenance.  50 ML of water every other day
not around

I have Ivy in my backyard, if you come over and pull it out for me, you can have all the Ivy you want!

Actually, I was able to grow sunflower plants, My grandma liked watching the birds come and eat the seeds, I haven't planted anything since her death.

In Australia I have a sweet potato.

In PNG I have a 10m coconut tree, a 30m long hedge, a scaled down jungle in my yard and various tropical trees.

I'm not sure if it's the right name or not, but I guess I have a "wandering jew"? It's got very colorful red/purple leaves that sprout from the main vine, thrives in water or soil, and the clippings survive very well if treated right.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams it is
still a beautiful world.  Strive to be happy.

water or soil?
so you can just throw it in some water and its fine?

whats a clipping
and why do you want it to survive?
why is it called a wandering jew?

1) Yes, I had it growing in a glass with water and it grew big, and it also does well once potted.
2) Yes, you can throw it in a glass of water after cutting the stem at an angle (to expose the end so it can take up water),
3) A clipping is basically a part of the plant - if you cut off one of the stems, it's a clipping.
4) I want it to survive because it looks nice, and plants are cool.
5) I dunno about the name, that's just the name my buddy called it.  He gave it to me, he's a plant guy, so that's what I call it.  I'll get a picture tomorrow.
