So I bought some knives...
« on: January 06, 2007, 07:38:51 am »
well technically ones a machete.
today i went out with a couple of friends and picked up 2 really cool knives... anyway, when i got home, i stuck one on a table and it fell off and fell on my foot and coincidentally hit a vein, which caused blood to spurt everywhere.
now i'm sitting in a large armchair with a bandaid on my foot and i ask you:

Do any of you have any cool weapons as well as stupid injuries associated with them? and pics as well :D

I have a bone axe which i cut my hand with when playing with it while on irc one time (but its in australia so no pictures of it), 2 knives and nun chucks which my neighbor concussed himself with... i'll post piccies tomorrow
I expect smexy camping carl to have a few :D

I have a glock that I was playing a game with once.  I forget the name, it was Russian something.  Maybe Russian rollers?  Anyways, I lost the game and I shot myself through the mouth Tyler Durden style.

They have some kind of ointment for that, right?

when i was really young, I picked up a razor by the wrong end, it didn't hurt at all but it split the top part of the front of the thumb's skin in half, and it hurt later.

I have 3 hunting knives 2 I bought and 1 my grandfather got me when i was little, a little pocket knife, a larger swiss army knife from my grandpa and a smaller pocket knife with an engraving on it from my dad.

The closest thing to a weapon that I have, is an old Axe handle. I had it sitting above my bed, and it fell and hit me fair in the nose ::).....so it now sits....blood covered....next to my bed xD

I was trying to get a plastic cover off a scalpel but it was stuck so I pulled really hard and it came of but it cut open my thumb and I had to run downstairs to get a bandage... then clean up the blood trail I left behind.  Another time I was outside with my machete and needed to do something with both hands so I threw my machete into the ground but instead of sticking for me to pull up in a few seconds it hit a rock, bounced up, and the tip hit my toe... but the blade was supper dull so I just hurt.. didn't cut me.

I remember one time I dropped a glass on the floor, and while picking it up, I cut my hand. I must've cut a vein or something because blood was spurting up in the air like a fountain. And just my luck, I was home-alone...DUN DUN DUN

That would be an atery, veins don't contain blood at that pressure.

I once cut my ear open with a knife accidentilly a few years back. I still can't remember why I would have a knife anywhere near my ear, but who cares.

Smith and Wesson 686 -6" .357/.83

Smith and Wesson 500 -8 3/8" .500MAG

Mossberg 500A in standard 28" field configuration, or with 18" barrel, knoxx 10-round drum, 7 round magazines, and compstock 12ga

Mosin Nagant 1891 with 4x12x44mm Simmons scope attached via ATI mount, with ATI stock 7.62x54r

Mosin Nagant M38 7.62x54r

Harrington and Richardson Handi-Rifle .30-30

Marlin 336 .30-30

Yugo SKS 59/66 with Choate skeletonized stock 7.62x39

Ruger 10/22 with 3x9x30mm Simmons scope .22lr

Ka-bar 7" USMC Fighting Knife

M9 Buck Phrobis III -rare, super-sexy bayonet

Ghurka Kukri 10.5" - Napalese hacking weapon, authentic

A crapload of knives under 5" in length, such as Cold Steel ReadyEdge, Ka-bar TDI's, etc.

I've cut myself many, many times, none of them hospitol-worthy, though that may have been influenced by not previously having insurance.

USP .40, Remington 700BDL Lefty in .30-06, and some other fine weapons are next on my list, though I'm still far too enamored with my darling Smith and Wesson 500.

EDIT: I need to get a new digital camera to show yall my friends :P

I've cut myself with a regular knife before, alot. By accident when I was little. My brother shot me in the leg with our air pistol.......I killed him.
