Seperate effects for each weapon

I know similar threads have been made, but I'd really like to be able to make each weapon more unique. For example, the m79's explosion. I'm using a Crimsonland mod, and I'd like it to create an ion burst where it hits instead of the default explosion, without changing all the other explosions, such as nades etc. I'd also like each bullet type to have its own visual effect when making contact with something. For example, if you had a weapon that fires acid, it could make small acid clouds where the acid makes contact with polygons. Obviously it wouldn't affect anyone making contact with it, but it would allow for some nice visual effects.

Another thing would be to have seperate sound effects for pulling out each weapon.

oh yes, when i use the halo mod i miss that loud sound when i pull out the sword.

Ha, I was just about to point that out. This also covers collision effects, which have never been done before (aside from, I guess you could say, the Flamer and Rambo Bow's regular arrows).

Full support for this, as of now, the system limits modding because we can't make different explosion effects.

I would like to see each weapon have its own projectile, clip, shell, flash, and (animated?) collision graphics, and any other necessary graphics for whatever type of projectile you want; this would be the (second) best day ever for modders (the best would be an overhaul of the weapons.ini).

I like the idea of having different explosions, my edited DOOM mod can't have green explosions because the rocket launcher and grenades shouldn't have them.

Support, at least for the explosions part.
