When i was a noob i played with desert eagles alot but as started to play more with other guns i switched to the AK 74.But this weopan should be strong like real strong.I mean its got a 7 round mag it should get upgraded.The spas is stronger then the eagles shouldnt the eagles be 1 up but ltone down on the accuracy?I just need some help figurein out this one.

In my opinion, the deagles are the most difficult primary to use, mainly because of the unique bullet arc. However, in the hands of a master deagler, they can counter pretty much every other weapon with ease.

i tottally agree with all that, but on to your question, i think the deagles are pretty strong, its just that hits dont seem to register sometimes.

The deagles can kill in 3 hits. There's a 7 round magazine and a fast reload time. In my opinion, it's fine as it is.

The eagles are perfect now. They were overpowered at least once already. It wasn't pretty.

Ive been deagling for atleast 2 years (not the whole time o.o), and they definatly need a small boost. Every other weapon in soldat is balanced except for the deagles.

I'd have to disagree. The eagles can kill in 2 or 3 shots. They have a 7 round clip and reload quicker then the Ak-47. Maybe you just weren't using them enough for you to notice the potential of them.

They're definitely fine as it is. I rarely use them, and they're still one of my best weapons.

I get DK's quite frequently with them... so I'm with the pack, they are fine.

Deagles might be close to fine, but the autos and m79 are far much more useful and, simply put, better. If they were to remain unchanged and only the overpowered guns got nerfed, people would complain sooo much that all we do is nerf.

They're gonna get better.

in servers with few people, i use ruger. in a server with many people, i use deagles, because it is a short-range ruger with generally the same hits to kill. I really like the ruger. im definately better with ruger than with the deagles, and i think i should practice more with deagles. i think deagles are very good how they are. they are just like the ruger with more ammo. awesome.

Clan war situation.

3v3 On a medium to small map, eg Laos/Kampf, they are a potent gun. Any map bigger generaly you're wasting your time and are better off using an auto since you have room for error and better range, assuming you dont pick hk...

4v4 Don't even bother, no matter what the map is you're wasting your time, auto dominace is going to own you in any situation, you can talk them up as much as you want. The reality is, that deagles are balanced but the rest of the game isn't. A buff would only cause more trouble, the problem is that the autos&m79 need a nerf and this doesnt mean more bink. Adding more bink has proven to be an ineffective solution to 'spray'.

yeah i think bink is not a good solution either, rooster. but i think deagles can fare very well in 3 vs 3 or 4 vs 4 if they are experienced enough.

They are most effective when you claim headshots..... but im kinda lousy at aiming with them so it dosent go well all the time..

They are however, a weapon of solid attitude!! (oh comic material!!

Ah, here we go again with all the numbers and what-ifs...

If you're going up against a bunch of autos, then you're an idiot if you take the Desert Eagles with you. The only handgun I'd consider taking into battle against someone with an automatic weapon is the Golden Gun; and last time I checked, this game we're talking about here wasn't Goldeneye 007.

The DEs fire in an arc for a reason--the idea is that you fire at the target from odd angles and locations that make counterattack difficult. If the map you're on doesn't lend itself to that end very well, then don't use the Desert Eagles; instead, choose something that's better suited for the current map and your opponents' weapons.

As for "unique", it used to be EXACTLY the same with MP5, until the 1.3.1, with its WM. Now deagles have slightly more than 0.5% more bullet speed, than Mp5 (Mp5 speed was reduced from 190 to 189).
