Why do people Hack

Why I think people hack is probably what FliesLikeABrick said. Hacks, Cheats, etc all came from one certain place. And do you know what that place is? Yes. Consoles. When consoles came out there were cheats, hints, hacks to have fun with the playstation 2 etc, but it wasn't illegal. After that people obviously wanted hacks for pc games, but this was illegal. When you hack into a game it like hacking into someones privacy. You should never use hacks at any costs. I don't care if your computer would blow up, never use hacks. Hackers "try" to prove themselves good, but they aren't good. Ok, I admit I have been to some forums ,and people have posted hacks, but do you know what were the replies?

I would like to point out that because of hackers, releases have been prolonged because stupid people found exploits for MM to have to fix. Thanks a lot fags.

The point of the topic was to get people's opinion of why people hack games.
After a bunch of one-sided posts, I posted. An argument started.

Oh yeah, ds dude, people cheat in games for many, many reasons.
It's not a simple as black and white.

Unless people are going to actually think of reasons why people hack, instead of saying: "They hack cause they're noobs"

There are many types of hacks. Some of them are to prove skills (no bink, no delay) and some of them are for fun (Airman hack, speed hack). Using "prove skills" hacks is much worse than "fan" hacks.

First of all : The new "anti cheat engine" sux. I tested it with Urbanterror , it doesnt even detect memory editing apps.
(as far as i know the only thing that it does is detecting if op-codes are changed / noped)

@Topic : I started hacking  , because i got bored of soldat.
But its not like i want to ruin the game , i keep all my hacks private .
(i even made a antihack-hack for my soldat server !!!1111  - not working right , though [sometimes detects random people --- haha , like the soldat-anti-cheat-thingy ])

I think they're compensating for something. Maybe they're not willing to practice or learn but still want to be great.

I've seen hacked .exe mods for games that put in extra features, fix bugs or allow for new game modes. Some hacks are acceptable (especially the ones MIT does!), and as long as it's not public, nobody really cares.

Geez, if you hack a shareware 2D shooter made by some guy in Poland, that's pathetic. Why not try breaking Steam? Get them to give you free games AND never have them find out about it WITHOUT using programs you didn't write by yourself using only your own code. That will prove you're more of a hacker than getting used as target practice by people like MofoNofo.

 Even though htis was an old thing Many people do hack steam. i got vac banned for getting every game. And i just got vac banned again for being accused of hacking.

I think they hack cause it is fun to watch. I actually dont hack to beat the game but It looks hilarious seeing a hacker play. But then I ban them o rget them banned.

It is a waste of time. We could have easily had 1.4 or higher by now if MM didn't have to update the antihack system.
