Cortex Command: is it also able to make physic in soldat
like destroying buildins :D

tried playing gunster again, amongst the bugs, hackers, unbalanced teams, sluggish controls, slow speed of battle,... yeah i uninstalled

I have a game on my site called Gun Run.

It is simple, but is side scrolling, like soldat.

It has it's similarities, but soldat owns it hands down.

Too bad, Warrock is really crappy. Most of your hits don't register and the weapons are as accurate as a airsoft pistol at 28m/s wind. (except the sniper rifles)

I dont think u'll find something better than soldat, at least not in 2D. Even the popular 3D games these days dont have the dynamics soldat can offer.

btw, I tried that cleaner thing...wtf was that lol.

Agreed, Soldat is like the top of its class at the moment.

CS2d sucks. They did some interesting artwork and the fog of war type thing is well done too, but the game is too slow paced. I didnt enjoy it much at all.

cleaner was horrible! omg what was it even about?

most may not like it but perhaps try pawngame

I still think soldat is the best 2d shooter

edit: the cortex command wasn't too good, cant play online as far as i can tell and the controls are cumbersome

Yeah, the controls for Cortex Command are really weird (it's not online, just split-screen). That's bad, because it really is a cool game—it's a test build right now, but it has awesome features (like, for enemy dropships, you can blow up an engine and the machine will spiral out of control), but the controls and layout give it a really steep learning curve.

Here's a tip... first defend from enemies for a little, and once there is some wreckage which will prevent enemies from reaching your brain directly, order a Heavy Digger in place of your Light Digger; it helps a LOT, lol. :P Then get another robot filling up the roof of the cortex with a Concrete Gun, and the entrance underground. If you leave your bots alone, they will shoot at enemies, but they are extremely unreliable, unfortunately... I don't like to practice the RTS part of it, but it's awesome how they can even attack on their own at all; not many games can achieve that.

logic would dictate that if anyone had found a game superior to soldat, they wouldn't be hanging around the soldat forums to help u, in all likelihood.
