Sprayers are just in the game, same as snipers, ameuturs, run-and-gun, etc. I can't vouch for any constructive critism for this topic, but that is why we have tactics. If they spray you...so what? I found a sundry of ways to flank them.

People say I spray. Not true. This is mostly said during trench matches. If my men are behind cover, and I can't see byond 50ft of me, I fire in suppresion to get my team to the nearest cover. Suppression to flank.

I admit, I can't use the hunting rifle or barret. I'm close-quarter combat. I don't use the AK in the means of spraying like a siezured criminal. I need to shot in burst fire to see if I can nail anyone, or to make them hid for cover so my team can advance forward. People have their reasons and descriptions of their tactics. Question is how can you counteract the sprayers. Chromedgun found a way by using the LAW. I fire back in suppresion so I advance foward to flank them.

And I have horrid spelling dexterity, sorry.

I hate trenchwars because there is no flanking, you got one route, and it's blocked off by a sprayer and your sniper's too binked to do shit, what the fuck do you do now?

Spraying is a mapper's problem, not a balance problem.

wisely said, at some maps (most default maps) you can avoid the spray easily by taking a low position. also the spray goes in a pattern which makes it quite easy to dodge.
also if you equip yourself with a accurate weapon like ruger you can now in 1.4 locate the sprayer easily. since the bullets gets smaller as they lose speed
and you can look at the curve of the bullets to easily locate the enemy. you can even see what weapon he is using. I hate sprayers but they have a lot of weaknesses too. if one comes trough the opposing forces spray wave and they are forced to reload. during the reload time you can easily kill them as long as they doesn't have law or ussocom.

but I am fully against spray (except the small low damageing clearance of snipers)
