I like the idea, it seems that just as I am reloading my mp5 and at the same time trying to through a nade at the sniper directly under me he kills me, but if he waited just a second longer, my nade would have fallen.

Support for the number of kills I would get if it was enabled. :)

Here's a compromise:

But if this was real life
Selene | Murderfly says:
You would ragdoll, the grenade would probably end up about a foot or so

So, the grenade is still thrown, but in real life, it probably wouldn't have much momentum after your whole body went limp.

(I'm Selene)

The reason for the low momentum is the way you throw a grenade, in an arch. If you're JUST about to throw it, your hand is in a claw-like state, and moving downward. Depending on the death, you would probably end up throwing it downward or slowly forward. Also, if you're in the last few frames of the throw animation, you DO throw the nade. There's also a few frames after the grenade is 'thrown'.

It's going to ruin competitive play.

People will get pissed when they earned their kill and they get killed by a random instance of probability.

It takes away skill and replaces it with luck.

We already have to worry about nade spamming and invisinades.

"Random instance of probability." :P
I agree with Shady on this one.
It would be best to leave this feature out.
Good thought though! :)

well I think that the kill with a droped nade shouldn't count, it would just kill the guy but not add to your score. Sweet , sweet revenge

no one has addressed how a saw-wielder would be expected to deal with this. an enemy only must start pressing "e" sometime before his death, and his enemy will die too.
Without originality society is doomed.

Yeah, that too. I don't support even Will's idea, I don't care about my score I care about where I am in the map. I don't wanna have to walk all the way back to the fighting grounds.

What I was trying to say on the first page is very much like what Shady said. My fair kills shouldn't kill me back.

and @jrgp (and the "my dead body still moves" people): Thats not a good arguement. We don't want to put in stuff because it will give us more kills. Thats like saying the barrett should be more powerful because I use it. If that sniper managed to hit you that one second early then good for him. Someone with and HK can kill me one second before I fire the barrett but that doesnt mean my limp body should fall on the trigger and kill anyone in front of me.
I am but a figment of your imagination. You are creating me to see what perfection is.
