done, but still problems. i gotta add, first i copied it (wrongly) to the desktop, and there it showed the .exe files there correctly, so maybe just a stupid dumb KYOOB-MISTAKE. happens. ill tell you if i find a solution.

btw, you can also hire me to make the wiki-page for this program, if not already done, or a help file or what ever. and as we talked via IM, you COULD implent my apps :P

Your tools looks really neat, but I get a "Runtime error 103 at 00407ED0" when trying to config.

What exactly you were trying to change when you got this error?

I simply tried to access the Config window by clicking on Config and got this error. Then STC crashes.
By the way I also got this error while clicking on "Soldat Folder" (00407F16 this time). It might be something related to Soldat's path. Mine is E:\Soldat131\.

Also I noticed STC check everything in Soldat directory each time you start it. I think it'd be better to let the user manually select the tools he wishes to see in the Tools menu so that it doesn't display a lot of useless .exe files.

Edit: I did try to copy the app. into the main directory and it still crashes. I can see the tools appearing in the list though.
By the way, as it works for most people (especially the author) don't bother fixing it. It might be due to my regional settings. ;)

GluLm... did you copy the Soldat Tray Control files into your main Soldat directory? I got the same error until I did that (by clicking both "Config" and "Soldat Folder"). There's no option to set your Soldat path, and it doesn't search for it, so you have to copy the files into your Soldat directory.

1. Archive with the programm sould be extracted to Soldat folder only and Soldat Tray Control folder and .exe file should not be renamed.
2. Unfortunately i can't vouch for the 100% compatibility with different regional settings (especially with right-to-left fonts).
3.

How exactly this should work? Do you mean something like folder where you can put shortcuts to necessary tools?

Well actually I don't really think it's anything related to regional settings as I assume you're running a russian version of windows and I'm running a french one... and the app does start without any problem. I'll test it on another computer soon.

As for the tool menu, I was simply thinking about something that woud let you browse into your soldat directory and select the .exe you wish to see appear in the list. Just a thought. ;)

Well i planed this application to have only menu interface so i don't know how to implement this idea propely...
How about adding Add tool and Clear list  items in tool menu so you can browse and add any tools there? But this will require people to perfom quite long manual infill of this list...

Also about IP joiner: it should be like small window with 3 text fields, paste and join button? Or something like kEasyJoin? Also i've been thinking about automatically adding server addres from clipbord to join menu.

Getting the same thing. File originally copied to root Soldat directory. Happens when i select soldat folder or any of the Tools.  Windows2k server, blackbox shell (could that be the reason), US encoding.

You should extract all archive content to your soldat folder as it is. So it should looks like
Code: [Select]
...\Soldat\Soldat Tray Control\Soldat Tray Control.exe
