Timesplitters at last!
« on: November 05, 2007, 10:36:33 pm »
I finally found a site with decent side views of Timesplitters weapons:
http://www.eidosinteractive.co.uk/games/embed.html?gmid=131

If anyone's interested in messing around with these PM me.

...oh yes. This needed to be made so badly. BRING ON THE MASSIVE MOD MIXER.
To sum up my point: We had a multipage debate about toilet padding. (Putting TP in the water so you don't get splashed.)
And we still don't know if dead guys can keep a stiffy.

I agree with you on the pistol.

Its nice I can secod, but the shading is nice because its a shrink job - resized one.

Gigrespam: do good work, quick work is for nothing.

On topic, where is my futuristic nice looking  P90 with awesome sound ? I cant find it on the page...

Yeah, the problem with that site is it has some weapons that weren't even in TS2, and missed a lot that were. Still, it's better than nothing.

And I have to say, the wood texture looks great even after shrinking. I'm going to have to reuse that sometime...

Sci-fi sniper please. >_>

Sci-fi sniper was in TS3=not on that site. Sucks, don't it?

Also, just finished the lasergun. It's too detailed of a gun to get away with a shrink job, so I only used that for the outline and color pallete, and then spent about 20-30 minutes re-detailing it.

I think he was talking about mine when I said the sniper rifle was a blatant shrink job.

You can get those same views of the weapons on the first site by clicking on the weapons. Funny thing is, all the ones that would have been useful (i.e, weren't on the other site) were either down, or just never posted there.

Also, shotgun finished.

One more set of weapons for the day...

I'm the least happy with the Homing Launcher and the KF7 Soviet, but meh, I can work on them some more later.

Yeah, I know. That's the part I didn't like about it, but the shape turned out wonky when I tried to make it better. I'll change it eventually.

Awesome work on that plasma autorifle! It looks much better than in the actual game ;)

Anyone found any Future Perfect weapons?

I tried looking at the Future perfect official site, but all you can do there is order the game =/

Date Posted: December 18, 2007, 04:40:33 pm
Finished the weapons-gfx for the plasma autorifle. They're used for the steyr aug as of now, but you can just rename them for something else. The steyraug-fire I didn't make myself, I just recolored one of FMBM's from his metal slug mod (Yes, I use those for everything. So what? They friggin rock!) to be more bluish.

*EDIT* Say...anyone know where/how I could find/rip sounds?

1: I only resize them for the color palette and general shape.
2: The original pictures I'm basing these off of are pointing left, and I keep forgetting to flip them around before posting them.

This mod inspired me to make one about TS3. Of course, I'm not going to compete with you, that'd be suicide. Seems like my dozen incomplete projects are not enough, I'll take one more.

In other words --> Great job, Awesome work and Good looking. I want to see this mod completed.

Heh, thanks. Too bad there's no reference images about TS3, atleast none that I could find on my 2 min search.

Oh yeah, if you own a TS2, you might want to take in-game images somehow. I remember I used to press start, go right (once, if I remember correctly) and there was my arsenal with pictures of all weapons. I took photos and drew them by hand afterwards ^^

I wonder if you can do it in TS3 too...

Yeah, I think you can. You can also check every weapon at once in the menu where you make your custom weapon set. Might get to trying that sometime.

Well, I started the topic to show a link to help anyone who wanted to make a TS mod; so not really hijacking...

*MEGA BUMP*

Date Posted: December 22, 2007, 07:37:18 pm
Finished the tactical 12 gauge and updated the Soviet S47. Now you can actually tell the thing on the bottom's supposed to be a grenade launcher. I also attempted to un-up-screw (or un-screw up...or screw down...bah) the clip shape. The tactical 12-gauge ended up bigger than I'd wanted, but I shrunk it down as small as I could without getting rid of major details.

*edit* Hey, could a moderator put this in the partial mods section? I'm not entirely sure why I made it here in the first place...

^ Due to the weird view of the gun on the site it's been annoying to get the shape right. I gave up after a few tries and made something else. Of course, if I redo it I could use a  picture of the actual gun for reference and just use colors from the TS version...
