Guys ! I've got a brilliant chance to get the sounds from CoD4 but unfortunately I can't do it. It's because I don't have the CoD4 game which is ironical but anyway. The way you could do it is HERE. Please if anybody got some time and could support me with this I would really appreciate it. Cheers.

[EDIT] Oh... well there is no gun shot or anything like that, there's only voices of the soldiers, various sound stuff but nothing like a gun shotting or so... I'm quite dissapointed... what do you really want, Dairy?

Niko don't try it, I made it time ago and It didn't worked, the sounds are coded, so they are not real 'sound files'

Well, this thread is really old, Ive got new PC and Ive got the game installed nowadays. Im sorry for not update this topic but nobody payed attention so it was kind of useless.

Niko thanks a lot for efford I really appreciate that. But as Skykanden mentioned its not possible. Youre right the sounds of weapons arent there. Im sorry I realised that too late and nobody was interested to help so I didnt update this topic in case I was still hoping the sounds are somewhere there even when I red somebody told on some page its not possible...

Surely, you will need a program that decode sounds and saves them in a folder (fe. Call of Duty 4 decoded sounds) in wav format ...

and whats the problem in that? :s
there are lots of people who make mods of something and don't have the game...doesn't matter, as long as you have good information etc..

they are .file i think
when you open them they are just like binaries but with words and so, thats why they are coded
