That's gonna be quite a bit of work. So is the weapon damage gonna be modified because I'm pretty sure a FN SCAR Mk.16 Light can kill you a lot quicker than an AK.

This should be in the Mods section.

yep lol, ive just realized that ive posted it in the wrong page >.< The AK can kill you much quicker mainly cause of its 7.62mm caliber, so its more of a stong kick than a punch from the scar-l, however i made it a '3 to 4 direct shots' kill for the scar.

What about the flamer? Being a useless weapon unless someone is continously being burned, will you increase the damage by huge amounts?

Also, be sure to test all of your weapons with the beserker bonus once you're finished.

And PM an admin to move this thread.

i don't intend to modify any of the bonus weapons except for the rambo bow. since this mod is mainly aimed towards Realistic Mode. But i could make a seperate weapons.ini for Non- Realistic, generally, reduced weapon dmg.

:P way ahead of ya,ive already pmed an admin, still waiting for an answer

update: Decided against the Apache Support weapon for personal reasons. Switching to the classic C4 Suicide Pack, and it makes quite a nice boom :D

Question, Overl0rd suggested me to outline the current weapons. Based on YOUR judgement, would you think the interface would look good Outlined or not?

Usually, an outline is there so on light maps the weapon doesn't disappear into the map. It's a good idea to test out the menu gfx on a few different maps to see if they look good everywhere.

Shapes are really nice, but the shading could be better, on m99 it's based on gradients don't use them so much cause they look a bit strange.
I agree with the others, try to add the outline and just compare which one you preffer

would darkening the entire weapon be better than outlining it?

ive also found out that the Mp5's kinda light, so i think it would be best to darken it a lil bit more.

Shadin's not really my best, but ive learnt most of it from making gosteks. As for weapon modding, its a lil be out of my forte, so care to give any tips? :D

Well that about shading is up to your style try to use a prograr that you know how to use it more or less well. Take different pictures and take care of making it similar to a real one

thats mainly what ive been doing the whole time :O, i use Imageforge3 for the getting the colours via gamma correction and adjustments for brightness, its going pretty well. Anyway, ima also using a Blue-ish background for the interface, would that help too?
