Let me elaborate then, if you are bothered by the imagery:

The TV: I had been doing some experimentation with the medium of analog video (VCR tapes, analog cable) as a medium for film making. It has wonderful artifacts and characteristics-- high contrast and warm color balance (very much like film in that aspect), and instead of the files corrupting or frames dropping when data is damaged (a la digital video), the picture distorts in a manner that is very familiar and nostalgic to our generation of watching taped TV shows. That shot was a very very distorted bit from a tape of a party that I covered, the moments of greater and lesser distortion synchronizing with the mood of the night. I'll digitize it sometime so you internet folk can watch it.

Me wearing a dress: The dress was handmade by a friend of mine, she needed someone to model it so it could be sold. So why not do tranny shots? Logical enough.

The shot of the couple: Those are two friends of mine who dress ridiculously as a regular thing. Would anyone under 120lbs really wear a XXL jägermeister pop-art shirt, and would anyone walk around town dressed as a male stripper? To those of you who say 'yes' to that, that's fine too. It's far more hilarious when they blend in with the people they're passively mocking.

Well, it's not too fun anymore. At least I'm getting an education though.

Oh, and that's a shot from a trip to an old cement factory last July. I've been looking for a mineral mine to visit as of late, but haven't found any that are out of operation. Dodging years in prison for trespassing in an industrial zone is not worth it.
