Quake 2 Mod-Partial Gun Interfaces done-

I was on this mod last year, when i stopped playn' soldat, now i found the game in my pc so i got here for some help.
I done WeaponInterfaces till' weap 5.The Reload Bar is done, all sounds and Gfx done except the Rambogame's files.
This is a prototype, i am still workin' on a new game Chainwars-
gots Relastic on/off  Advance mode on in tournaments and DServers
The best maps for this are:ctf_affganistan, area51, arena2_tropical(my remake, coming soon).
Guns 1.AG Manipulator, 2.MachineGun*, 3.Shotgun*, 4.Chaingun*, 5.SuperShotgun*, 6.Flash Gun*, 7.GrenadeLauncher, 8.BFG1W50, 9.HyperBlaster, 10.RailGun 2nd weapons 1.Blaster 2.Combat Blade 3.Blade Thrower 4.RocketLauncher  FragGrenade C4BlasterGrenade( in place of Cluster Nades).
* are for Chain Wars.

On 2-3 Jun. ill give you more screens, enough time to finish my interface

NOTE: The interfaces on the screenshots were moddified for callibration only, they won't look like that :*). Most screens look crappy cuz they're maked last year.
This is my 1st mod i will finish and i don't got the registred version :)
Sorry for my stupid invention with the Blade Thrower, it just creates blades, just good to throw. its good for Db matches.
If you wonder why the flashgun takes dammage so low like the blaster, cuz in relastic,on AND off( i found glitch:) ) Flashes the enamy's crosshair hihihi.

I don't like it, anything! the button weapons can be better i don't see it a lot, Flash-gun = zero shading and bfg and granade launcher and the missile, what it suposed is?

ok its your first mod, but do it better please, looks a lot the pixels on that last guns...

Doesn't matter, how long you making your mod, only end result of final, public version.
Btw, I see green/teal frog at 4 screen :o ;) :P

lol. the frog is leet. I know its in development but the meun gfx buttoms look ugly. You just copied images and pasted them onto buttons didn't you? Its unoriginal and looks ugly. Try making interface gfx that show the whole gun, check out Skykandens wep maker tutorial. Don't know whats up with the neon guns but....

And please!! Don't recolour original guns like you did with minigun.!!

Rather restart the mod, you can ask for help from other modders, they will help.  :)

Here, if you want to make a quake 2 mod, I have worked on this project, but I have aborted it. If you want to use parts of my mod, just ask. It seriously needs some help IMO.

I put weapon 6 (ruger, right?) as rocket launcher. It worked well, just use the m79 shell.

Those guns are too small (part of it)
And some of the guns are too ugly (sorry man)

These weapon icons have clearly just been copied directly from Quake 2... You should try to scale them and make them fit better in the menu by removing the backgroud in the images.

There is already a Quake 2 mod.. I believe..

And pldease if you don't like the opinion don't insult, and you made the weapons with 2 styles, one without shading and the other with buttons and little, wtf?

OMG OMG didn't i tell'd ya i made every thing except the interface, and now the mod is on a beta ver. omg you like the style w40kblahblahblah and this is a experimental mod.I made the first q2mod last year and now i gotta fin it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just try harder and show us something nice. Don't release until you are satisfied with it. Don't worry about copying and paste work, there are many modders like that around ...so just work for your own pleasure. It doesn't mean that if somebody doesn't like it the others have the same opinion. Just complete your mod ...make more buttons like you already did...or pasted - whatever.

You shouldn't force us to love your work just because our negative opinion makes you angry and makes u wanna leave.

Generally, you're right Dairy, but I'm going to have to agree with Temp on this one, since this guy's being so defensive about something that really does... suck.  :-X  Saying it was a decent shot is a slap-in-the face for other first-time modders who put in more effort into their work.
