I've played for every weapon except minigun, but I mostly like Desert Eagles and Steyr AUG. As secondary weaps I like M72 Law & Knife. Sometimes I pick Barret M82A1.

I'm a pretty solid MP5 user, although I occasionally use the Spas 12. Favorite secondary? Probably the combat knife. Not very good with it, but I like the impressive throw kills

But generally, I'd use the MP5, Steyr Aug, Spas, Ruger, Barrett, M79. I don't really touch the rest.

Depending on the gamemode, I'm usually about 85% of the the time an autos user.  HK-Mp5, AK-74, Steyr AUG, FN Minimi are my favorites, especially the HK-Mp5.  Same percentage goes for my secondary, mostly carry the M72 LAW on my back, but there are times that I would use the Ussocom for a change.

2. Grammar is your friend.
Reading your posts is rather annoying, because with every word, my mind automatically assumes that you're starting a sentence. Then another capitalized word follows without any content or punctuation in-between, and my subconscious mind gets confused as hell. For every word I read in one of your posts, I feel like I'm being forced to eat soup with a fork.

I know you don't exactly enjoy negative ("mean") responses, especially from mods (who would, right?), but in all honesty, you earn them yourself. If you don't put in any effort to rid yourself of your "noob" status, you're going to keep getting such responses.

Gah it's the opposite for me. I just did a couple gathers a bit ago because I had some vacation time from school. The ONLY gun I was effective with was the MP5, which was my old fave. I used to be good with other guns though, but in these games I failed miserably with everything else.

I chose MP5 because it's the easiest gun for a rusher like me to play with.

Barrett. That was the first weapon I started out with. The idea of using an anti-material sniper rifle that could penetrate ridiculously thick objects against human game was the coolest thing ever when I first began playing Soldat. What a sick weapon!

I'm a big believer in using most or even all of the weapons, picking whichever one depending on the situation: what map I'm on, what weapons the other players are using, and what my teammates are doing if I'm playing CTF or whatever.  I find I tend to gravitate toward automatics, though.  I'm probably best with the Minimi, and I tend not to use the Barrett, Minigun, or M79 much.

That having been said, my favorite weapon would have to be the chainsaw.  When I get a little bored of shooting people, I just start playing as "Stanley Decker" and use nothing but the chainsaw and grenades.  It's very, very satisfying when you win a deathmatch against a bunch of guys with guns.  It's also a challenge, since you typically can't just go and rush people head-on, especially if your opponent has a Spas.

I've never used the "hang back" tactic with a chainsaw... but I do wonder how effective it can be.
