possible weapons-gfx bug
« on: January 30, 2009, 03:33:37 pm »
i have found out something while i was playing games with mods, and its the placement of the guns when looking right/left
i wont explain much, just look at the picture

i havent moved the soldat in any way, only crouching/turning, so he is at the same place the whole time

*the picture is made when using halo3.5 mod
created by SeR!@L k!LLeR, v13t b01 and Rambo_6 for soldat

this isnt the only mod with such problems, i have seen this in almost all other mods, even jon only 1 weapon
just that you know, im not criticizing the mods,
i think the problem is occuring with *weaponname*-2 picture, tho most time with the following weapons:
mp5, ak 74, steyr aug
the other weapons arent so often with that problem

*if you dont see it, look at the head size in crouching left/right

Yes, it exists. Does anyone care much? I'd like for sure if it would be better. Adding three more animations for weapons handling would fix the problem.

1. would be aimed with weapon high lookin' trough iron sights or scope or sth.
2. medium position like you handle weapon searching the building.
3. waist position. Would be god for minigun.
4. arm position for launchers.

But it would be even better to be able to change points of handling for every weapon. in .ini.

I thought It's only problem of mine. Now I see it's globaly screwin' the mod.

This probably belongs to Bugfix as well.

EDIT: It's annoyin' me almost as much as the weapon overlapin'
