I am asking for a gostek editer that work well so it will be easy to make gosteks. I am aware that there is one made already but it does work at all (i have read theard i got no help there). PLease if you can do it post it up in .zip file i can't do .rar files

There is no such thing as an actual gostek editor. you create the gostek with an image editor. Look around the Mod Discussion or Mod Help section for more info or help or tips or whatever.

I managed to get gostek viewer working on vista, if you are on 7 however...

I'm using a windows xp installed computer.

That gostek editor actually works, but it gives a load of errors when you start it. All you need to do is:
- press OK on all errors
- click on the triangle at top-left corner
- select "set dir..."
- choose your soldat folder

You'll need to do that every time you run gostek viewer. :/

None of that happens on XP, which it was originally made for.

So it does happen (for some people at least)? :/

Seems like the program hasn't been updated in a long time, so maybe some changes in Soldat made it not work properly for some people.

Means you need to register that library. The thread probably has info on how to do it.

And make sure you're saving  the gostek viewer folder directly inside your soldat folder.

Thanks, that worked. I had the files themselves extracted in the root of Soldat... :/
