This is a little teaser for my upcoming script that is nearly finished. As the title states I am working on a STALKER mod for Soldat. There will be a full modification made by Skykanden that fits the script and the map perfectly and a server with this and some other maps.



There will be 4 different teams. Team 1,2 and 3 will be playable for humans, team 4 will be used by bots. The aim of the game is to reach 100 points before an other team reaches that amount. Every team has it's own advantages.

Team 1: AK,LAW, later Minimi
Team 2: HK,Knife, later Spas
Team 3: Ruger,SOCOM, later M79

Also each team has 4 different and unique skills. In order to use them they need to kill enemies to gain souls that they need to activate the skills. There is an interface that shows you your current souls amount and your buffs.

The skills:

Team 1:
Ammunition: Reload your guns instantly and gain new grenades.
FireTrap: Place a mine that will explode on impact.
CampSpot: On your current position you summon a CampSpot. While being in range of the Spot you and your teammates only get half of the normal damage and a health regeneration.

Team 2:
Draw: If you have no weapon you draw a knife instantly.
Rage: You enter the berserker mode for 5 seconds. Afterwards you die.
Rise: You rise from the dead on your position if you are dead already.

Team 3:
Rust: Guns of enemies in range will rust and loose ammunition.
Vanish: Enter the predator mode for 25 seconds.
DeathZone: You set up a DeathZone which will deal 15 damage to every enemy in range.


Team 4 has different kind of zombies. Basically there are Mutants (chainsaw), Evolved Mutants (chainsaw + more health), Slicer Mutants (throwing knives + more health) and a Boss (weakened Minimi + much more health).   

It will need some more time to finish a first version, but you are able to play the map already. It is waypointed and bugfree. Enjoy.

Nice idea, but won't that turn into a simple TDM or bot spawnkilling?

Also, try to make tunnel polygons a tad brighter. There's not enough contrast between them and the background sceneries. Otherwise it's looking good. Could be fun in normal game modes as well.

does anyone think a sniper with a knife on real mod can live long in a Death Match here

@Loner: I think spawning should be no problem. Players will need to fight each other in order to win and the bots are kicked right after their second death. I'll work on the tunnels ;)

Looks pretty good, but the contrast between walkable polygon colors and black is unusually high. You need to put in a second layer of polygons to make the transition from brown/reddish brown to black more smoothly. Also, put more varied shading into the map. There's just two different shades of brown.

Example:
 _  _    <--brown
/_\/_\  <--dark brown
\_/\_/  <--black

If you have any doubts on the Script - Which I doubt -, feel free to ask me. :)

BTW, I believe that Team 1 should have:

Team 1: AK,LAW, later Barret, 'coz two automatic guns would be kinda annoying.

Actually the Barret was the later weapon for team 1 but you will understand that you cannot play properly with a primary weapon that cannot take down an incoming zombiewave as easily as any other gun except the ruger would? That's why I chose the Minimi for the current version but if you elaborate your suggestion by throwing in some arguments I might follow your suggestion for sure ;)

lol i think a steyr-aug would be good its fast and about 2-3 second of reload time minimi is strogh and all but reload time is important and so you'll lose to reload time dark you will lose  :)

I still think that Team 1 should get a Barret.

Ammo Reloading + AK + Minimi = Cheats 4Evah!
Ammo Reloading + AK + Barret = More exciting game, with dudes that can cover the rushers.
