Resolution / In-Game Setup

 think it's wrong that the choice of resolution is only for registered. Playing at 640x480 is too bad, would be much better if at least 800x600. Everything is close, forcing off the "kill the console. " It must be horrible to play on a large monitor FullHD well. It's torture!

And why not put some graphics options menu in own game instead of leaving the setup? For example, turn on/off the kill console, graphics options like 16bit to 32bit ... all games have it and not Soldat? (even if you must re-enter the server)

I´m on a 22 inch screen and I still play on 640x480 cause anything else looks kinda weird.

Having the option ingame wouldn´t be that bad, but as you do not change your resolution often this is not that important.

Also the Game would have to restart i guess.

It may be a good idea to allow unregged users to at least use 800x600 resolution. But that decision is up to original creator of the game.

As for having config.exe and some other settings inside the game itself - me and a few other guys are currently working on a mockup of how it all should look together. Once we're done - we'll show it and see what the devs will say.

Yeah, if at least the resolution could be the same of your display... i mean, i can't change to 1280x800... it's 480p / then 600p / then 768p - and THAT's look weird! :P

Try to set Resize option (Graphics tab in Config.exe) and modify font sizes in font.ini (Soldat\Txt\)

I'm playing registered version with 75% resize @ 640x480 on my 22" 1920x1080 monitor using this fonts settings:
