I wouldn't want to take any sides before I can test both, but right now I'm thinking less is more. Keeping it black and white would also make it more unique.

If I have anything to say...
I don't like it too much. Ok, it's made perfectly. BUT. I liked simplicity of original and its warm atmosphere made especially with these rotten-green polygons in the upper way.

And think about the fact, that this map is really "forgotten" on public servers. I don't remember to play it from maplist anytime recently...

How about combining the grayscale and colored version together? Leave most of the map grayscale, but add a bit of tint to some of the key areas, like flag spawn, player spawn, pit at the bottom, ceiling in the middle of the top route, and maybe a tiny bit in random spots the outside edges of the map. You could also make it even less saturated than here to make them blend together better but still provide some difference for those that actually look closely at that kind of detail.

Hello mtk,
Your remake looks and feels better than the original Death. I'd like to include it in the default maps.

I fixed some polybugs today, you'll find the updated map attached to this post (+in our mapteam shared folder).

Here is an image showing where the fixes are located:

I like the default death but I like this version better. Also that skull is badass. Nice job
