soldat doesn't run smoothly

hi everyone,
my soldat doesn't work smoothly (it's like fps drop or smth, but my fps are fine, 200-250 depends on map). I had same problem with prev version but then I just opened youtube on background and it was all great (even with 60/70 fps). Now even youtube can't handle this.

I was looking on forum for similar problems and dutchflame had same as me here: http://forums.soldat.pl/index.php?topic=42451.0;wap2
His solution doesnt work for me, because I don't have any procces like dmw.exe in task menager.

Any ideas?

I've had the same problem for many years now, since I switched to win7. I've been told it's some compatibility problem between windows 7 and DirectX 8 or something like that, and that it would get solved in 1.7. I imagine the solution involves doing some non-trivial code porting so I guess it'll take a while.

I bought a new 144hz monitor together with a new gfx card. Everything is smooth for me now. I think the monitor did the trick

Yea cheap solution... Soldat is worth investing!
But it's like the best and only way to get soldat as smooth as silk.
I am choosing the 2nd option which is experimenting with settings to get it smoother and more playable + waiting few decades for 1.7 to come.

This is the main Soldat problem to me and they don't know how to fix it

Messing with theese settings will only get you so far though. And I doubt 1.7 will fix all problems, who said it would?

Ì feel you lin0s, took me about a day or 4 to figure out what the fuck is going on, however it's still not fully healed.

Without youtube in the background soldat runs around 120 fps for me which is shit..compared to the 500/700 fps i should have, and yes it's definitely a huge amount of difference of the smoothness

I suggest you run youtube or a gif in the background anytime you play the game, atleast that works for me.. as for the smoothness the only tip i can give you is to search for small cpu taking processes in your task manager.
