Flat surface:Notice that it is not a solid block of colour, its small variations in shade that give it a texture. Now do that in pixels.
Espadon very nice. I have to admin you were really usefull......sadly Mangled that was kind of weird task. You could give him a picture of a wall which he could see anywhere at home and tell him that it's flat but it got a texture , make it. No offence ofcourse. To be honest. Tutorials ain't really good because they won't really help you make your own style, but if you really want Google is your friend as well. There are plenty of this things. Or just zoom somebodys work. Easy as that.
What do I do if I want to shade a flat surface; i.e. the side of a revolver where the revolving 'magazine' is housed (Not the actual revolving 'magazine')?
