Try with chainsaw and knife bulletstyle in the .ini. Also it would be good to change animations.

Not possible, really. I mean, even IF you put aside that the gameplay would suck donkey cocks, it can't be made with the current weapons.ini limitations. I suppose you could turn off all the weapons except for knife and maybe saw, but that would be even less fun.

This is one of those idea that seems nice in concept, but if you think about it you begin to realize just how hard it would suck. The fact that it can't be done could be considered a blessing in this case.

Which would culminate in what could possibly be called the biggest waste of time ever.

And no, unless the bug where the there is no range limitation on guns firing chainsaw bullettype has recently been fixed, this isn't possible.

Uh...no. >_>
To sum up my point: We had a multipage debate about toilet padding. (Putting TP in the water so you don't get splashed.)
And we still don't know if dead guys can keep a stiffy.

If the Melee mod was ever perfected, we could have a nice new subgamemode to try out.

For now, modding it is especially difficult, and there are only a few maps in existence that have been replicated almost perfectly from SSBM and SSB (and also SSBB, respectively). LordDB's couple of maps were made from the classic N64 era and would be a great fit for a Melee server.

I've been thinking of making a multi-textured Hyrule Temple from the GC version, but I haven't gotten around to it. I reserve that slot as a mapper's job. C:

didimow, if you didn't have Blue Ninja's idea of the melee mod, then it's definitely f11. first of all, it's a freaking point blank range to punch, second, the CTF mode will be easy as hell then.

Seems like a pointless idea to me... It's like having a game with lots of weapons that are the same, the only difference is the appearance.

I mean, you could just disable all weapons except knife and chainsaw and you're done.

Mods that completely rely on the weapon.ini will never be that popular since they'll pretty much only be played with bots... and who the hell plays with bots?

Well, he could always make a server for it no one would play.
