yeah haven't had much time last year(s) I graduated and am working now, but I have been working on a big mod so keep your eyes open.

The images are broken (I mean the ones in the .zip file, the actual explosion is broken)

That's because they aren't *.bmp or *.png they are *.tga's (same features as .png) with the *.bmp extension, made them before png support.
You should be able to open them with Infraview or gimp after renaming.
