New Resolution

OK...I have some ideas for resolution, which may even be quite useful

Normal 4:3 - you know
Widescreen 16:9 - 1366:768, 1440x900, 1600x1000, 1680x1050, 1920x1200, 2560x1600 (30" Monitor recommended)

I have 1024 * 768 and I use classical 640 * 480 resolution. I just can't bother having another than the resolution I always had, I just can't get used to it. I find this quite useless.

I also play on 640*480, whilst I should be using 1440*900, which doesn't exist..

Maybe not so many weird resolutions that you listed, but soldat could really use more options in the config (instead of editing them in soldat.ini). I think it really needs at least 1152x864.
As for widescreen - soldat doesnt have proper widescreen support yet, so before that is done, there's no point of adding widescreen resolutions to config.

I have 1680x1050, fullscreen doesn't work. But honestly how do you want to make it look like on the other resolutions? Black bars at both right and left side?
Because it's not fair to make them see more on widescreens.

I still prefer to use windowed mode.

EA didn't give BF2/2142 widescreen until 1.5 update as it's unfair on those with a 4:3. I F11.

I'm pretty sure they can make it "fair". Seeing as just about every "new" game there is (with the exception of 2142) has widescreen support. As for Soldat, I don't really see the point, I play windowed anyways.

It wouldn't be fair in soldat if people have 22" screens against a 800 x 600 RGB monitor.
