Altitude, multiplayer 2D action game similair to Soldat but with planes

Anyone else heard of or play this game? 

I'm addicted to it.  It's pretty similar in style to soldat since its 2d multiplayer action, except instead of guys with jetpacks, you fly a plane with guns.   Check it out here: http://altitudegame.com/

Never heard of it, but it seems alright. (though judging by the video it's not very impressive gameplay-wise). I'll try it later.
I wonder if it was inspired by Crimson Glory by any chance...

I played it. Haven't in forever. Was it ever going to cost money?

I'm not sure about Crimson glory, I believe it was inspired by a really old game called biplanes.  Altitude has been in development for a looooong time.

But yea, the full version costs money now, but there is an unlimited time demo where you can use 2 of the 5 planes and a subset of the customizations.
