Friday morning I learned that my company NEEDS me to help a customer in the Netherlands set up our software. Apparently I'm leaving on Monday.

This is an installation that started early June and is projected to take another month to complete. Remote desktop isn't exactly sufficient for something of that scale. Furthermore, there's a seven hour time difference, meaning that if I were to fire up remote desktop at 9AM, it would already be 4PM over there. There's essentially no overlap of work schedules, and that's the sort of thing you DEFINITELY want communication (ideally real-time) for.

Im somewhat back. Arrived at Ottawa, but theres still some paperwork to be done before we can move into the new house, so we're staying at a motel. Hopefully it wont take long to set up the internet when we move in. :S

Make sure you don't smoke too much the first time since dutch weed is known to be much stronger than american crap
