It has been, almost 8 years now?
Heh, I can count myself as a soldat veteran...

Anyway I've had enough, time to move on in life.
I may be active on IRC for a few more days and then leave.
The hardest part is quitting soldats irc community because it was the only reason why I didn't left soldat a couple of years ago.

And The Longue sucks...

I only hop on here from time to time to check on how things going, but I admit I haven't played Soldat for almost half a year and I less and less frequently visit the forums. Even though Soldat has finally got some nice updates - things are still very much the same. :/ So I haven't really left, but I'm not really here either.

I am a lurker, post on rare occasion.. I've been busy with the Ace of Spades, as it is a fairly new game with a fast-growing community..
I do really enjoy trying out the new Soldat releases however, it'll always remain in my top couple of games and the updates are getting better and better so full marks to the dev team.

I downloaded the latest version (I think) and there seemed to be barely any servers..

Whoa I remember you from years back.

With the current devteam, new versions are coming out every other month or so, so not everyone upgrades frequently. Look here for the full list of servers comprising multiple versions: http://soldat.thd.vg/en/lobby

So i tried to show my friend soldat, but because of the location i was in, I couldn't connect to the servers.Panic ensues, as i think that my favourite game of all time has been discontinued!

Needless to say that you bastards are all still here, and everyone I used to play with is gone. 4 Forum years, plus another 3 or 4 not registered but still fragging, i feel old.

I'll be playing off an on nowadays, apparently my deagles skills have taken a huge nosedive.
