Have you ever thought the map might not be ready?

That's the whole fuckin' point of it. This is the mapping ideas general discussion board. Most maps with even an idea of what a completed map would be goes here. People in this board don't care whether it has scenery or not.

I've done something of this kind of layout vaguely enough, but it has failed on a number of occassions. All I can hope for is that you could succeed where I was unable to with any kind of factory-esque layout.

If he posted it here he is showing his idea or the begining of his map if it was ready he would have posted it in another fourm.

Thanks Specialists and Biggles :)

aand Blue-Ninja..

Map updated:

-More spawns
-Map closed in
-Bottom completed
-Team/item spawns placed

Still no scenery, but will come in due time.

And please comment even a simple "Yes, continue" or "No, don't." I don't want to waste my time on going the wrong direction. I would create a poll... but it appears that we can't in this section.

I wouldn't recommend continuing this, it's too cluttered, tight, and somewhat hard to move throughout it.  Hold the Flag layouts should be platform-like, this easily allows the flag carrier to move throughout the map with ease and keeps the gameplay nicely flowing.

I do however like the sun though, has a very nice 3D and surreal effect to it.

Ah, thanks for the comment. You've got a good point. Do you think it would do any good as a DM map? I was aiming for something different, and from what I've tested, DM has done alright (though definitely not conventional).

Practically any layout would play fine for DM.  I would scrap this map completely, but if you're that willing, feel free to use it as DM.
