I personally use Graphics Gale for weapons-gfx and gosteks, and GIMP for interface and interface guns. Although I dont really release much of my stuff, I use those two for my mod making.

What do you use?

MS paint, and i will start with Paint Shop Pro.
And like my signature i did with paint and Animation Shop

Photoshop for the most part, and sometimes MSPaint for little jobs that don't need any fancy stuff.

Eh, a combination of MS Paint for the small, quick jobs, GIMP when I'm resizing something or applying partial transparency and GraphicsGale for pixel art. I think it works pretty well.

Paint for small and quick jobs, Photofiltre for quick editing things like filters/contrast/colors/extension(s). Gimp for larger jobs and alpha-transparent images

MS PAINTER 4 ewah !!!1 on 40x20 pictures you don't need anything else.

For web design stuff I use Macromedia Fireworks 2004 / Adobe Photoshop CS2

For everything else I use GIMP

PAINT FTW!, my computer didnt even come with it installed lol, XP Pro and no paint but thats what i use for everything, all the interfaces ive made, and i cant draw weapons for sh!t, so WOO!

Photoshop isn't for lazy people x_X. It does make modding a lot easier though, and your weapons tend to look much better and take less time to make <3.
