CLASSIC FIRST PERSON SHOOTER MOD



Mod is compatible with Soldat 1.4 and  playable online.

Solutions for the most frequent problems

-How do I install CFPS MOD?
-Install it in Soldat's folder (example: c:\soldat\). Do not install it in the soldat\mods folder.

-Can I have CFPS MOD and HERETIC MOD installed simultaneously?
-Yes. There are two ways to do it: You can have two soldat folders (example: c:\soldat\ and c:\soldat2\) or you can move the CFPS MOD's files to the HERETIC MOD's folder(or vice-versa).

-The option ENCHARTER doesn't work. What should I do?
-Actually it doesn't work . Adding an option to change the weapons' colors would take a lot of work, so I didn't. But it's still possible to change the color of the bullets. If someone wants to make a "patch" to solve that problem I would apreciate it :P. All the other options are working, though.

-Does this mod work on version 1.4?
-yes,the Weapon Mod does not function in soldat 1.4,all mods of soldat1.3.1 function in soldat1.4.

-When will the 1.4 update be out?
-Only the time will tell, but probably when IVAN updates the HERETIC MOD (and if he allows me to use his MOD.conf.).

-Is this an update to DMM 1.6?
-Yes, but it is also a new mod. Befor this, it was based on just one theme.

-Do you intend to update CFPS MOD?
-Maybe. In the future there might be update patches adding weapons and gosteks from other games.

-This mod takes a lot of Megabytes, don't you think it is too big?
-Some people download games with more than 1GB, the more simple ones have more than 200MB, so what's the problem downlading a MOD with a little more than 50MB?

I hope I've enlighted some doubts.

Actually, it doesn't, fully.
There is a Recoil thing added in 1.4, none of the weapon Ini features work except for the soccom.

you need to go into the weapons.ini, add recoil=0 to every weapon, and then copy/paste that and rename it weapons_realistic.ini. ........... YAY mxyzptlk

WM does not function in the realistic mode,in the normal mode it functions perfectly . :)

all mods of soldat1.3.1 function in soldat1.4 in the normal mode

Alright I downloaded it and looked on the guns. Ain't some guns from the Blood II mod from Bmanx ? If not I'm sorry...

My notion is this : The main thing isn't quantity but quality. Some guns are really nice but some lack on details and shadin for me. I was really excited about the number of guns but after instalation I saw that u used some guns in more slots ... I mean. U added one gun as AK-74 and as Steyr too....that counts as 2 guns ? ....some have just changed one color panel, or color button or how to call it and added as a new gun.The gun-spray is just rotated. Overall it's a nice mod and I like your flamethowers.

I have to check the maps and gosteks...I'm still excited how will look that.

Yes yes...that the another thing I didn't mention....much of guns are ripped from game...but that's not that bad. As I look on both pictures it looks like Bmanx ripped something too.
