Ban IP mask doesn't work

In some tests I made banning IP masks doesn't work, neither at 2.6.0 or the pre-release 2.6.1 Fix it please, it's the only thing we can do against hackers with dynamic IP's  ::)

Well, I hate to reply to my own post but has the server developer seen this ? And if he has what he is going to do about it ?
