It's a college dorm and I'm done living there.  I really don't care what the housecleaning staff has to do or how it smells for the next people.  Sure, it's insensitive, but it's the truth.

You will have to pay for any damage that they cannot clean. Knowing dorm cleaning staff, they might charge you for a repaint rather than a simple cleaning.

Use goo gone or a similar product. No smell and it takes that stuff right off.

I lived in a dorm with four other guys and the walls needed some color.  Besides, I went to an engineering school, meaning that a LOT of people are into anime there.

Yeah, girls who are into anime usually aren't even desirable. They're nerdy, emo, often lack hygiene, and smell.
