What about the UEF for the humans? (UNITED EARTH FORCES)
Which includes all the continents on earth Uniting to form a space program to Colonize new planets.

And guys, I know how to Shade and mod, it's just that I have never made a futuristic weapon ever.

That aside, tell me how this sniper turned out. It's supposed to be futuristic.

Getting better... Would like to see a bit more parts in front of barrel... looks a bit anorexic

Shading on scope looks really good.

Needs a bit more detail... looks really basic.

@entire mod team. UEF vs TEC is cool. Sounds professional and realistic.

Stock of Henito's sniper rifle looks a bit odd, but all right. Valorman's sniper is fine, Tempest. Sure you can make some Wraith gosteks, Sky.

"Terran" has been used in many different sci-fi contexts, not just Starcraft. "Terran" is the adjective form of Terra, the Latin word for Earth, not a word that the Blizzard guys made up (like "Zerg"). And there will be no UEF since TEC is already the "proper" Terran faction here, and besides, UED is "United Earth Directorate," the Starcraft faction, and UEF is too much like UED. I realized something though, uh, the guns are a bit big, okay? They might overlap. You especially, Sky, looking at your old mods, they kind of have a history of overlapping.

The Relya is good.

Here are the TEC marine gosteks.

1. TEC Marine with helmet and grenade bandoleer
2. TEC Marine with hat and ammo belt bandoleer
3. TEC with hat, close up
4. TEC with helmet with a Tempest SCOUT

[Edit: ugh I made the Gosteks on another computer and they looked fine, but they look quite dark in the pictures

So here's another one]

I changed the "gold" and dog tags to a grenade bandoleer and an ammo belt bandoleer, respectively.

I liked Tempest's sniper rifle so much I made a in-game based off of it. It's called the Tempest SCOUT.
Just unzip into your weapons-gfx directory and change the weaponnames.txt manually.

The weapons.ini values for the Tempest SCOUT are here:

Yes you are right. I really hate them. But when you're making them you don't have any limits...you can just use your own fantasy and nobody knows what exactly it should looks like because sci-fi can look like anything...futuristic materials,crazy shapes....but it reminds me for some kind of fantasy works...like some sword I made...and I enjoyed the work on those. It's some free when you can use bright colors (eye-candy) ...hmm

EDIT: almost forgot to mention that I like the futuristic SMGs...the sounds ( like the one gun which got the Space Marine in Starcraft [I'm a big fan of that game btw] ) ...

well, i think we should make a halt to the interfaces now, and from now on we will focus on the gosteks, interfaces, and in-game, and maybe some improvements to the curent weapon to, like making the alien weapon in kind of same color and with energy accus and stuff.

I tryed to make my weapon tall, my newest 1

in the beging its pretty tall after that it gets smaller. but i like my newest weapon, i think its my best shaded weapon i have made.

@espadon. I'm honoured that you like my rifle so much.

Unfortunately I have hit a dry patch with weapons, many attempts no results. And exams are only 2 weeks away for me... so I'll have to sacrifice some time to study. Anyway... i'll try my best at new weapons and try to keep up to date.
