Aarni, I think you're supposed to do weapons-gfx, (although I doubt you really have to until the mod's about to be released) interface weapon, and sounds (if you can find some). You don't need to do stats.

And Sky, by typo'ed he means full of spelling mistakes :O

Okay, done (atleast the prototype). I chose the G3 SG/1 (which I own as a replica :P) because the mod needs more World War taste in my opinion.

Things I did: Interface image, GFX weapon image, Fire and shell.

Things I didn't do: Sounds, Bullet images and Stats.

Inform me if something vital is missing, you don't have a winrar or the weapon simply sucks ;)

Better is make few guns and make revolution in improved style suddenly but harder, big work but with small amount, than slowly improving style by n mods and n guns and doing small steps with lots of work. Deep natural water is better than swimming pool ;)

This was absolutly nonsense , you're telling me that I can't improve when I make a lot of sprites faster than slowly few ones ? Honestly , that's a bullfeck. Think about it one more time or explain it if I understood it wrongly.

We could probably have more modders if Sky didn't set the bar so high(I wasn't even sure of doing it until he persuaded me on MSN)...afterall it is a Soldat Forums Mod and people should be able to do it. Then again quality is good to have too so what do you pick.

No exactly in this way and dont directly about you, just only in general, I mean there's 2 ways:
1 When someone slowly improve his skills, with small step by step with many work.
2 When someone do something rarely, smaller but with bigger improvements and revolution/original.
This is like... someone learned drawing from school, guides, manuals or from some practice but slowly, based on existing rules or just do by yourself but from part to part, later is more skill than abillity and always improved in long progress.

Alternative way, someone do something rarely, but with each time improved more than experienced few or more times, that 2 ways working everywhere.
Liike in RPG, after month experienced player (bug to bug method or something else) is at Lv. 25 but newbie, who later joined the game, survived harder quests after few weeks is on 45. You can kill small monsters, quests and get smaller amount of exp, but you can kill dangerous monsters, quests and get bigger amount of exp.

Someone working hard at something and finished interesting mod but this eat lots of time and is effect of experience before received slowly step by step. Someone working from time to time and suddenly owned that "best" modder by rarely work, smaller practice but with better style and quality in general.

Just example, not real but example: someone is do something first time, first gfx, first mod and isn't  only newbie but pro, someone to be good need hard trainining in same situation. Also when newbie modder is better in any way than experienced modder but he didn't modded before because it's first time, so it's more abillity than skill.
