And what is all this karate-chop (knife edge of hand) crap? Honestly it's not that easy to chop in a fight. Punches can reach further although I agree theres a risk it might hit their chin instead.I can't see a chop actually severing the wind-pipe though... The wind pipe is protected by rings of cartilage....
I attend grammar school, last grade, and ignorance is all around me. Well, good for them. Ignorance is bliss.
People who are saying that you could take more, you are wrong. A high amount of kids running at you would take you down fast no matter what you do. 26 kids, the number I got, weigh 1040 pounds (40 pounds times 26).
30... the last 50 kids ran away

(Same with 2nd knuckle vs. 3rd knuckle) Plus, unless someone is reeling back constantly, then you'd have to have a nearly impossible level precision to hit the neck with a fist. Not to mention the extra amounts of force you can get in the swinging motion. (Which you can admittedly do with a fist, but that's technically not a punch)
Also if you hit them with the 'knife' part of your hand it will apply pressure to that spot only instead of a fist which has a bigger surface area, especially if you hit them wrong.
25. A swift, hard knee to the face is all it takes.
