One thing, if the project is ever picked up again, that definitely helps boost listeners is providing a constant, live status on the forums.

Maybe right below the news, you could add such a thing. What it does is not only tell what is playing, but when the next live program is scheduled.

I.e.
 
Soldat Radio - Now playing fljsjadlsd by fasdfl
Next Live Show in 00:00:00 [live clock] with DJ Dairy
