You should try drawing pixel art dude... don't resize. If your going to resize... open them up in Paint, and zoom right in on them... then pencil in some extra colour and black outline.
Then it will look alot less like resizing.

It was just a test I did and wanted to see what other thought. I will do it pixel style then.

Yes, I'm planning on doing the UT3 mod. Will do this much slower than my Crysis mod so it turnsout better.

But I'm working on it for my first pixelated gun. But I had 2h of indoor Bandy so I'm gonna take a shower first and eat something.

As I said I'm gonna do much better this time and I've found a better way of doing the shading.

Which one is better? The first one has also black lines inside and outside while the other one has black outlines and darkest color inside.

Honestly, resized weaopns are pretty weak. I mean , shallow work.

That stage is over, Dairy. I'm sure BD will stay away from shrinkydinks from now on.

I tend to use 'true black' as sparingly as possible if it's not the outline, but I think for your style, black lines on the inside give it more definition.

Have to say it doesn't capture the feel of the Lgun. Looks more like a cyborg Mosasaur skill instead of the white Protoss carrier that It should look like... well, I think the problem is that you're kinda downplaying the white panels that really give the gun character.
