Contest for a new official forum logo

Where do I post my entry?
Post your logo in this thread :)

When is the due date?
All submissions must be turned in by April 7th, 2008.

How will the decision be made?
We'll narrow the candidates down through popular vote in a new thread on the forum. The winner will be selected by admins through consensus.

What do I get in return?
Well, aside from feeling all warm and bubbly inside, your name will be stamped on the front page beside the original theme creators! You're destined for eternal fame and glory in the forum community.

Can I improve on submissions from other contestants?
Absolutely! If you build a logo based on another contestant's submission, be sure to cite your source. Both of your names will used in the event that you win. You agree by posting here that your submission is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0

Are there any image requirements?
Use the same background color (#5b7491) and similar proportions. Image filesize and format should be reasonably web-friendly. If you designed your image using Photoshop or Inkscape, feel free to post the source PSD or SVG. Be creative.

Should they post submissions in png or jpg or something else (I know that the ultimate product will be jpg, but we can always convert that after the contenst)

I left out these details on purpose because it's always possible to resize and convert. I'll update the rules to fill in the gaps.
