I sent mine to you about a month and a half ago. The DL link and the youtube. Even so, a couple entries isn't enough. Also, that's why I thought an extended period would make contestants lose interest. One month would have been good, but 3 months just is way too much time in my opinion. Hopefully this works out though. I hope there is at least 5 decent entries submitted.

I've wanted to do this for a really long time. I make trailers for people a lot, they're not great but they're perfectly functional.

Here's an example: Unreal 1 Singleplayer Mappack Trailer

If anyone wants to help me with it, please PM me. If I don't get any responses, I probably won't make one, seeing as I'm rather busy with everything and deadlines don't phase me much. If a real person motivates me however, I'd be up for it, so long as they could help by some means (providing stellar demos, acting).

I also replied to you saying that I won't accept final submissions on youtube, that you should spend more time on your submission, and that you needed to contact me when you were ready to upload the final clip via FTP

Oh, I didn't get a reply back. I said that I really didn't have time for the only time I really go on at the time is during work since I have a desk job. I already deleted all the trailer stuff to clear space, but if you really want me to spend time to make another one I can do one since my schedule is easing up since the summer coming to a halt.

Hasn't really died, just wasn't given a real official deadline, by which I mean, "done on this day and that is that". Keep makin them. I would still like to give it a shot as well. At the moment - a bit too busy working and just compiling/collecting footage.

there was an official deadline. July 20th.. I still can't be bothered ending the concept I made. this was the concept on some pre-stage.

I never got enough submissions from people to make it worthwhile for me to follow through with the competition. I was hoping to receive at least 25-50 submissions and have a real serious following of the competition. It more or less fell on its face unfortunately.

...and the expectations for so many entries IMO are way too high. Video editing is a hard process, and I doubt that there are many professional video editors around here. 10-20 submissions is what I would expect, but 50 - heck no

I plan on making another potential trailer. Only this time I will make my own soundtrack which is in-sync with the video, hopefully it will be kickass.

All I need now is to get recording some gameplay.
